The study aimed to explore nurses’ perceptions about the management of nausea, which is a common side effect of chemotherapy. The main findings centered around three themes: Nurses’ perceptions of nausea in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, their perceptions of the factors that contribute to nausea, and their perceptions of the measures used to manage this condition
The study recommended boosting nurses’ self-confidence by providing a supportive work environment, improving communication skills, an promoting teamwork to effectively manage nausea and maintain quality of care. It also recommended further research to explore other factors that may influence the occurrence of nausea in cancer patients. The researcher received a very good grade for her research efforts
