
Psychological counseling and educational guidance means : Providing the best services and providing the best balanced and correct ways that aim to help the student psychologically, scientifically and socially, and help him discover his abilities, capabilities and skills and exploit them properly for the purpose of reaching his goals and achieving them in accordance with these capabilities.

How the counseling unit works
- Holding periodic meetings for unit members to develop a counseling plan commensurate with the requirements of the stage, including seminars, workshops, visits and volunteer work.
- Holding meetings for counseling officials with students of the academic stages, each according to his stage, to discuss the issues they suffer from and categorize the issues according to their categories: Study, psychological or social issues and develop appropriate solutions.
- Receiving some psychological cases of students directed by faculty members or students
- Guiding students with appropriate solutions according to the type of issue.
- Seek counseling from a specialist in case the issue is psychological and requires treatment and follow-up.
- Writing reviews and recommendations to the deanship of the college on some academic issues.
- Following up on some special cases of students and communicating with them continuously.
- Following up on the annual counseling plan and the extent to which its paragraphs are realized.
- Holding seminars at the end of each semester for each academic stage to discuss the teaching, exams and results of the semester and submit them to the deanship of the college.

Unit goals
- Communicate with students and listen to their academic issues and the difficulties they face and ways to solve them.
2. Explain the rights and duties required of the student and the need to respect the university campus, and the student’s relationship with his professors, colleagues and college affiliates.
3. Helping students deal with their psychological, social and behavioral issues appropriately.
4. Follow up students who are lagging behind academically and find out the reasons for this and find appropriate solutions.
5. Developing students’ personal skills and abilities to achieve the best results.
6. Engaging students in the activities and events organized by the unit and encouraging them to participate in voluntary work.
7. Organizing various awareness seminars and workshops.
Unity message
It includes receiving the minutes of the academic departments, categorizing them and monitoring them in the agenda of the College Council, summoning the members of the Council for scheduled and emergency sessions, ensuring that the members of the Council sign the minutes of the session, editing the Council’s decisions and approving them from the Dean of the College and following up on their submission to His Excellency the President of the University. Also, prepare the resolutions approved by the President of the University and submit them to the competent authorities and departments.
