The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Baghdad discussed a doctoral thesis entitled: “The effectiveness of the nutritional guidance program on patients with functional dyspepsia.” The thesis was presented by student Hassan Jaber Hashim, supervised by Tahseen Rajab Muhammad, in the college’s main hall.
The thesis aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a dietary guidance program in improving the knowledge and eating habits of patients with functional dyspepsia. The results of the study showed that the program was highly effective in positively influencing patients’ knowledge and eating habits.
The study recommended increasing health awareness among patients with functional dyspepsia through lectures, television programs, and social media. The aim is to clarify the importance of proper nutrition and changing eating habits, which contributes to reducing the symptoms of functional dyspepsia. The researcher received a very good grade for his thesis.
This study directly aligns with the third Sustainable Development Goal (Good Health and Well-being). By focusing on proper nutrition and health awareness, the study contributes to promoting individual health and preventing diseases associated with malnutrition, thereby supporting global efforts to achieve this goal.
