The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Baghdad discussed an important master’s thesis entitled “The effect of high-quality home venous bandages in reducing thrombophlebitis in children in children’s halls: a randomized controlled trial.” This letter was presented by researcher Roa’a Qasim Mohammed, under the supervision of Qasim’s names in the Great Hall of the College

The letter was mainly aimed at determining the effect of high-quality home venous bandages in reducing phlebitis in children in hospital lobbies. The results of this study found that high-quality home venous bandages are an effective intervention in the relief of peripheral venous catheter-associated thrombophlebitis in children.

The study made several important recommendations, most notably the need to train nurses and health care providers on how to apply high-quality home intravenous bandages for pediatric patients. Assess the satisfaction of nurses and parents during the provision of basic care. The importance of providing these advanced bandages in Iraq, given their current lack of availability, because of their positive impact on children’s health.

This study is an important step towards improving the quality of health care provided to children, and its results provide a strong basis for the development of nursing practices in this field. The mission achieves the Sustainable Development Goals represented by the third goal of good health.
