Within the framework of the University of Baghdad’s keenness to raise the educational level and follow up the academic process, the President of the University, Prof. Baha Ibrahim Insaf, today inspected the progress of the final exams for the first stage and postgraduate students at the College of Nursing.

The university president was received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Wissam Jabbar Qasim, and his assistants, where he was briefed on the measures taken to ensure that the exams run smoothly and impartially. This visit aims to follow up on the quality of the educational process, check on the progress of the exams, identify and overcome any difficulties that students may face, and support the college in achieving its academic and research goals.

In a statement, Dr. Baha Ibrahim stressed the great importance of exams as a key pillar in assessing educational outcomes. He praised the pivotal role of the College of Nursing in preparing qualified nursing cadres that meet the needs of the labor market and society, which directly contributes to enhancing the quality of health care in Iraq.

This visit comes within the program of the university presidency to follow up colleges and students in order to improve the educational level. This visit is also an embodiment of the university’s commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the third goal of good health and well-being, through its effective contribution to building a strong and effective health sector in Iraq.
