The College of Nursing Council held its ninth session, headed by Professor Dr. Wissam Jabbar, and attended by the members of the Council, to discuss a number of important pivotal topics.

The Dean opened the session by congratulating the members of the College Council for the College obtaining national academic accreditation and starting to strive for international accreditation.

The Dean of the College said, “We call on faculty members to prepare well for the Evaluation exams, and to set high-quality questions and conduct trial exams before the start of the final exams to ensure students’ readiness.” He added, “The importance of adhering to academic standards and exam controls, to ensure the quality of education, and pointing to the College’s keenness to implement the university’s directives and the University President’s directives to ensure the educational process runs smoothly.”

At the end of the session, the Council discussed the decisions on its agenda for undergraduate and graduate studies and scientific and administrative affairs. This meeting reflects the College’s keenness to develop the educational and research process and raise the level of graduates.

The College Council aims to contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals for Goals 3, 4 and 17: Providing high-quality education, promoting scientific research, developing partnerships, and encouraging sustainable practices.
