Since my appointment as an acting dean of the college of nursing, ongoing rather than episodic development was & will continue to be the leadership approach. Aiming for creating an academic role-model for all academic institutions around the country. The dean’s leadership agenda has focused on but not limited to, transforming toward smart campus, fostering informatics in nursing education, advocating both learners as well as educator’s meaningful development, advancing scholarship, creating a welcoming organizational culture, and cherishing the Iraqi society core values.
The dean strongly believe that organizational success is the outcome of all stakeholder’s active and genuine contribution, therefore, shared governance is an irreplaceable foundation of every step of organizational journey.
The upcoming chapter of the organizational journey will reflect the promising global image of our college. An image that actualize its mission, vision, philosophy, and core values. An image that adapts to opportunities and changes, has a continuous passion for growth, purpose-driven, valuing feedback, and embracing diversity.
