The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled (Work Team Management) in the presence of the college’s teaching and administrative staff.
The workshop aimed to become familiar with the term of team, its components, the goals of building a work team at an effective level, as well as the concept of work team management and its benefits.
The workshop was presented by Instructor Dr. Safad Riyadh Isam within the activities of continuous education unit and as a part of the college’s efforts to achieve the sustainable development goals, as it contributes to achieving the twelve goal (Responsible consumption and production).
The workshop also included several topics, the most important of which are: steps for building a work team and selecting team members according to personal and communication skills and their harmony in working with each other, the characteristics of a successful work team and the foundations of its management, as well as the conflicts that occur within the team and how to avoid them and find appropriate solutions to resolve them.
In conclusion, the role of the leader in building the composition of a successful work team and the extent of the work team’s influence on individuals, management and the organization through work efficiency and improving the team’s productivity towards the specific task were discussed.
