Participants\u2019 knowledge of general information about diabetes mellitus and early complications about diabetes mellitus has been improved after the application of the educational program in the study group. There is a significant association between participant`s knowledge and their socio-demographic characteristics in term of their gender.<\/p>\n<p>The most important recommendations reached by the study: Educational programs should be applied to increase people`s knowledge about etiology, signs and symptom and treatment of diabetic mellitus for patients and their families, And the estimate that
