Nursing held a workshop titled \u201cBalancing University Studies and Personal Life in the University Environment,\u201d presented by Prof. Dr. Azra Hussein Shawq, as part of the unit\u2019s activities aimed at promoting mental health and providing counseling support to students.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The workshop addressed the importance of balancing academic responsibilities with personal commitments and explored ways to cope positively with academic stress, as well as developing time management skills, setting priorities, avoiding procrastination, and limiting excessive use of social media.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The workshop utilized interactive training methods and simulations of real-life situations from students\u2019 daily lives to help them identify sources of stress and select practical, actionable strategies to overcome them.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">At the conclusion of the workshop, it was emphasized that academic excellence is not measured solely by academic achievement but is closely linked to a student\u2019s ability to maintain psychological and social balance and to manage the demands of their life with awareness and responsibility.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">This event is part of a series of college initiatives aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being), which addresses mental health, and Goal 4 (Quality Education); by providing students with psychological support and equipping them with life skills, thereby ensuring an inclusive educational environment that fosters stability and sustainable academic excellence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt alignnone
