Reflecting the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad\u2019s commitment to ensuring that its academic mission extends beyond simply awarding degrees, the Training, Employment, and Follow-up Unit continues to play a leading role in supporting its graduates and fostering their professional careers after graduation, resulting in inspiring success stories in the healthcare field.<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the most notable examples is a graduate who took full advantage of the specialized training workshops organized by the unit; These high-quality programs helped refine his clinical and practical skills and prepared him to meet the demands of the job market, enabling him to obtain his license to practice and open his own nursing clinic with competence and professionalism.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of the unit\u2019s periodic field visits to monitor the status of nursing clinics and assess the aspirations and needs of their owners, the graduate took the initiative to donate a collection of medical devices and equipment to his alma mater, in a gesture that expresses the highest sense of gratitude and appreciation for the academic and training support he received, which served as the springboard for his professional success.<\/span><\/p>\n

The college\u2019s deanship and the unit\u2019s administration praised this exemplary initiative, emphasizing that the success of graduates and their continued efforts to support future generations represent the true fruit of integrating university education with the requirements of field practice and community service.<\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative underscores the College\u2019s and the University of Baghdad\u2019s commitment to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals by directly contributing to the promotion of good health and well-being through providing the community with qualified nursing professionals, and by achieving quality education by bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and continuous training, as well as supporting decent work opportunities and economic growth by enabling graduates to establish their own health-related ventures, and fostering effective partnerships between the academic institution and its graduates to serve the future of healthcare in Iraq.<\/span><\/p>\n
