It also sought to familiarize them with the latest trends in medicine and nursing, as well as the importance of rapid intervention to save the lives of patients and avoid potential complications.<\/p>\n<p>The program for the two visits included an exploratory field tour of vital departments in the hospital, starting with the Emergency Department in the Internal Medicine and Surgery Division\u2014which serves as the first line of response for critical cases\u2014and continuing through the Internal Medicine and Surgery departments. This tour provided students with the opportunity to observe the workflow in these departments and interact directly with the medical and nursing staff.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is part of a series of field visits planned by the Department of Nursing Fundamentals, aimed at enhancing students\u2019 theoretical and practical competencies in the field of nursing fundamentals. Through these visits, the college aims to empower students and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to accurately distinguish between various medical conditions, make proper diagnoses, and provide the best medical and nursing interventions to preserve patients\u2019 lives and minimize complications that could lead to a deterioration in their health. This visit contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 on quality education.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\"
