The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad hosted the ministerial committees tasked with developing questions for the comprehensive assessment exam for nursing colleges in Iraq for the current academic year, as part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research\u2019s efforts to promote academic rigor and standardize academic criteria among public and private colleges. The event saw a large turnout of distinguished professors and experts from various Iraqi universities to ensure the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the scientific content.
\nIn their intensive meetings, the committees focused on formulating rigorous exam questions based on international quality standards in nursing education, taking into account the varying academic levels of students and emphasizing the fundamental clinical and theoretical skills necessary to ensure the graduation of competent nursing professionals capable of meeting the needs of the healthcare sector. The College Dean\u2019s Office also provided all logistical and technical support to ensure the committees\u2019 work proceeded smoothly in an appropriate academic environment that guarantees the confidentiality and security of the examination process.
\nThis hosting reaffirms the leading role of the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad as the flagship institution and primary supporter of the nursing education process in the country, which directly contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education by enhancing the quality of academic examinations, and Goal 3 on good health and well-being by ensuring the quality of medical and nursing education outcomes, which positively impacts the level of health services provided to citizens.<\/p>\n
