The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled \u201cBeh\u00e7et\u2019s Syndrome: The Mystery of Multiple Inflammation.\u201d The workshop was presented by Dr. Wissam Mashan, a faculty member in the Maternal and Neonatal Nursing Department, and was attended by a group of faculty members and undergraduate students in the college\u2019s Continuing Education Hall
\nWorkshop Objectives: Accurate Diagnosis and Health Awareness The workshop primarily aimed to raise health awareness and educate students and the public about Beh\u00e7et\u2019s disease and its various symptoms to avoid delays in diagnosis. The event also focused on clarifying subtle medical distinctions and highlighting the differences between Beh\u00e7et\u2019s ulcers and common gynecological infections to ensure the safety of treatment pathways and avoid misdiagnosis that could harm patients
\nThe workshop concluded with a set of scientific and practical recommendations, the most notable of which emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the early diagnosis of autoimmune diseases and encouraging scientific research to develop modern diagnostic and treatment tools. The workshop also called for strengthening collaboration between physicians and researchers to improve the quality of nursing care provided to patients with this type of syndrome
\nThis workshop is part of continuing education activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3 on good health and well-being, by raising awareness and improving early diagnosis of rare immune diseases, enhancing the quality of healthcare, and strengthening specialized medical expertise to serve the public health of Iraqi society<\/p>\n
