The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific workshop titled \u201cAcne,\u201d which included a joint lecture presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Yasmin Hassan Ali and Senior Biologist Maha Majid Yassin, attended by a group of faculty members and staff in the college\u2019s Continuing Education Hall<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of acne as a common skin disorder, highlighting its various types and clinical classifications, as well as discussing the most significant pathological and environmental factors that lead to its onset and exacerbation
\nThe workshop concluded with a series of recommendations focused on finding effective preventive solutions and emphasizing the importance of using appropriate medical treatments for each case, while highlighting the pivotal role of proper nutrition in reducing complications resulting from the condition and ensuring a rapid response to treatment<\/p>\n
This event is part of continuing education activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 on good health and well-being. Through these seminars, the college seeks to promote health awareness and early disease diagnosis, which directly contributes to improving public health and reducing the health burden on society<\/p>\n
