The Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized workshop titled \u201cLanguage Culture and Its Importance in Finding Employment Opportunities,\u201d presented by translator Muslim Sabah Mohsen in the \u201cAl-Riyada\u201d hall, with active participation from graduate students, as part of the college\u2019s efforts to link academic outcomes with the demands of the contemporary job market
\nThe workshop aimed to motivate students to master English as the primary language of nursing literature and global tools, while working to raise their cultural awareness through the practical application of precise scientific terminology, In addition, the workshop sought to open new professional horizons by equipping researchers with a broad command of specialized vocabulary, giving them a competitive edge in international health and research institutions, thereby enhancing their ability to communicate scientifically and professionally with high efficiency
\nThe workshop concluded with a set of recommendations emphasizing the need to strengthen the focus on foreign languages within educational institutions and to implement intensive training programs that simulate real-world work environments, while calling for the strengthening of professional partnerships between the university and various sectors of the workforce to ensure that graduates\u2019 skills align with actual needs, This initiative embodies the college\u2019s commitment to developing students\u2019 cognitive and communication skills in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 8 on decent work and economic growth, by equipping medical professionals with global communication skills<\/p>\n
