The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad organized a comprehensive awareness campaign on water consumption guidance in the college corridors, based on the university’s leading role in guiding community behavior towards preserving national resources. The campaign aimed to establish a culture of optimal water use among students and staff, with a focus on modifying daily practices that may lead to waste and promoting a sense of moral and national responsibility towards every drop of water as the basis for life and environmental stability.<\/span><\/p>\n

This campaign is a practical step to link university activities with sustainable development goals, particularly Goal 6 on clean water and sanitation. Through this initiative, the college seeks to build a sustainable educational environment that preserves resources for future generations. This approach contributes to reducing pressure on the local environment and reducing the material and energy waste associated with water treatment, reflecting the college’s vision of preparing conscious nursing cadres with a high environmental culture that enables them to lead positive change in society.<\/span><\/p>\n

The campaign included guided tours of the college’s corridors and laboratories to spread awareness messages urging discipline in consumption and reporting any technical malfunctions that may cause water loss, emphasizing that individual awareness is the cornerstone of achieving the comprehensive sustainability sought by modern academic institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n
