{"id":4526,"date":"2025-12-14T20:00:50","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T20:00:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.conursing.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4526"},"modified":"2025-12-14T20:00:50","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T20:00:50","slug":"faculty-member-at-the-college-of-nursing-participates-in-scientific-forum-on-modern-trends-in-antibiotic-use","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.conursing.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4526","title":{"rendered":"Faculty member at the College of Nursing participates in scientific forum on modern trends in antibiotic use"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Assistant Professor Dr. Aysen Kamal Mohammed Nouri, a lecturer in the Community Health Nursing Department at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, participated in the annual forum entitled &#8220;Recent Trends in the Use of Antibiotics,&#8221; held by Al-Naji University in collaboration with the Infectious Diseases Association.<br \/>\nDr. Aysen&#8217;s participation came as part of the scientific session that focused on the latest developments in the field of infectious diseases and the challenges of epidemiological surveillance, where she presented valuable scientific discussions on the importance of promoting prevention practices and developing evidence-based health policies. The forum reviewed strategies to reduce the spread of infectious diseases and mechanisms for developing rapid response policies for health emergencies, as well as discussing recent research in the field of epidemiology and preventive health care and ways to enhance integration between educational and health institutions.<br \/>\nThis participation is an important step in the exchange of experiences between researchers and health practitioners, contributing to national efforts to improve public health and reduce epidemiological risks, which is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the promotion of disease prevention, and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through effective cooperation between academic institutions and specialized associations.<br \/>\nAt the conclusion of the forum, the need to continue scientific cooperation and exchange of experiences to support national health security was emphasized, with a focus on strengthening epidemiological surveillance programs and expanding community awareness campaigns, considering that protecting society is a collective responsibility that requires a sustained commitment from all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wpa-warning wpa-image-missing-alt alignnone
