{"id":4498,"date":"2025-12-13T19:57:13","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T19:57:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.conursing.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4498"},"modified":"2025-12-13T19:57:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T19:57:13","slug":"college-of-nursing-discusses-delegation-of-authority-strategies-and-their-role-in-enhancing-institutional-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.conursing.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=4498","title":{"rendered":"college of Nursing discusses &#8220;delegation of authority&#8221; strategies and their role in enhancing institutional performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"model-response-message-contentr_dbea979ea1acf1ae\" class=\"markdown markdown-main-panel stronger enable-updated-hr-color\" dir=\"rtl\" aria-live=\"polite\" aria-busy=\"false\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The Training, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a specialized workshop entitled &#8220;Delegation of Authority and its Role in Developing Institutional Performance,&#8221; presented by Prof. Dr. Hawra Hussein Ghaffal, in the &#8220;Riyada&#8221; hall at the faculty.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The workshop introduced the concept of delegation of authority as one of the fundamental pillars of modern management, highlighting its importance in enhancing institutional efficiency and its pivotal role in raising performance levels and developing the work environment through the thoughtful distribution of tasks and effective and rapid decision-making. The lecture also addressed common obstacles to the delegation process, reviewing scientific methods to address them in order to improve institutional outcomes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The workshop was attended by doctoral students, who enriched the session with extensive scientific discussions and valuable contributions, focusing on how to apply delegation strategies within academic and health institutions and their impact on the quality of service provided.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;\">The theme of the workshop is in line with the college&#8217;s approach to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), which states &#8220;Build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels,&#8221; as delegation of authority is a key tool for achieving transparency and administrative effectiveness.
