Professor Dr. Hawara Hussein Ghaffal from the College of Nursing in Baghdad participated in the international conference held at the Fainan Hariri School of Nursing at the American University in the Lebanese capital Beirut on October 29-30, 2025.<\/span>
\nDr. Houra gave an important lecture entitled “Innovative Strategies in Nursing Education: The Power of Blended Learning” (Control Strategies in Nursing Education: The Power of Blended Learning)<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecture addressed the concept of blended learning, which is mainly used in the development of nursing education, aiming to shed light on the latest innovative mechanisms used in nursing education and discuss the benefits of blended learning in students’ critical and clinical thinking skills. It also addressed the challenges facing subsequent implementation, proposed practical solutions, and provided attendees with an understanding of how modern technology can be used in training and lectures, the importance of the academic staff’s desire for knowledge, and the educational aspects of preparing nurses to meet the demands of healthcare.<\/span>
\nThe lecture was attended by a wide range of Arab and foreign academics and researchers participating in the international conference held under the title: “ADVANCED HEALTH CARE RESEARCH IN THE ARAB REGION.”<\/span><\/p>\n

The lecture concluded with recommendations aimed at developing specialized education and featured a new innovation as a basic approach in nursing education programs to enhance the quality of education and train teaching staff in the use of e-learning tools and advanced educational platforms, and to provide a supportive technical infrastructure divided into impressive and simple digital laboratories. It encouraged the use of creative solutions such as simulations and electronic question banks. It also encouraged cooperation between health institutions to implement technology-supported training programs. Periodic studies of the final results in educational outcomes were <\/span>conducted<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Hawara\u00a0 participation aims to effectively pursue the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which is “inclusive learning.” Through a<\/span> modern and technological plan for education, the college supports educational institutions that are inclusive, equitable, and of high quality, and prepares sufficient health cadres to meet challenges, which positively reflects on improving healthcare (Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being) in the region.<\/span><\/p>\n
