To complement the efforts of the College of Nursing in serving the community, professors from the Basic Sciences Branch delivered educational lectures to the students of Al-Kawthar High School. The lectures were presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ismaan Adnan, Assistant Professor Dr. Salwa Ghazi, and teacher Dr. Alaa Shayeh. A workshop on personal hygiene as a lifestyle and key to success in the school halls
\nThe workshop focused on the topic of personal hygiene, highlighting it as a “key to success” and a way to protect the body from diseases and achieve social adaptation, especially in the stage of hormonal changes in girls, and included recommendations for oral, dental, and nail care.
\nThe activity was attended by members of the Ministry of Education’s Women’s Affairs Division and the school principal. In conclusion, a health bag and awareness brochures were distributed to the female students, as part of the college’s contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (good health and well-being).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
