The study aimed to explore evidence-based nursing practices related to the use of acupressure as a means of reducing the level of anxiety in patients undergoing cardiac interventions. The study found that most trials showed that acupressure significantly reduced anxiety in this group of patients. The researcher was awarded an “A” grade for this outstanding scientific effort.<\/p>\n
This study is directly aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3 on “good health and well-being”, as it seeks to enhance the quality of healthcare and minimize patients’ psychological and physical suffering before medical procedures. It also supports the fourth goal of “Quality Education” by producing evidence-based applied scientific research to develop clinical practices, which contributes to building highly competent nursing cadres capable of achieving the well-being of society<\/p>\n
