<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The College of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed a master’s thesis entitled “The effect of heat and cold therapy on low back pain in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention: A Randomized Controlled Trial” by student Ahmed Moayed Nouri under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Aqeel Habib Jassim in the Faculty’s Skills Hall.<\/p>\n
The thesis aimed to compare the effect of both heat and cold therapy in relieving low back pain in patients who underwent coronary catheterization.<\/p>\n
The results of the study indicated that both methods, heat and cold, are effective non-pharmacological interventions in reducing pain. The results emphasize the importance of these modalities in enhancing the role of nurses in pain management and providing non-pharmacological treatment options for patients.<\/p>\n
Recommendations: Integrate heat and cold therapy into nursing care for patients with low back pain after coronary interventions. It also called for further studies to generalize these findings and the researcher received a very good rating.<\/p>\n
This study is in line with the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (good health and well-being). By offering simple, non-pharmacological solutions for pain management, the thesis contributes to improving patients’ quality of life and well-being, supporting a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system.<\/p>\n
