<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The College of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed a master’s thesis by student Huda Mohammed Saleh Abbas entitled: “Perceived toxic relationships and their impact on mental health among university students: A predictive correlational study”. The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Hassan Ali Hussein in the Faculty’s Skills Hall.<\/p>\n
The study aimed to understand the relationship between toxic relationships in friendships and their impact on mental health among university students, while exploring the association of this phenomenon with the students’ demographic characteristics.<\/p>\n
The results revealed a clear negative relationship; the more toxic relationships a student perceives, the lower their level of mental health. This confirms that negative social relationships pose a real threat to the psychological well-being of young people. The student received a very good grade for her research efforts
\nAnd is in line with the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (good health and well-being), as it highlights the importance of a positive social environment as a key factor in supporting the mental health of young people.<\/p>\n
