The College\u00a0 of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed a master’s thesis entitled: “Emotional regulation and self-efficacy as predictors of relapse prevention among substance users”. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Hassan Abbas Malik under the supervision of Prof. Hassan Ali Hussein at the college’s Continuing Education Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n

The study aimed to understand the predictive role of emotional regulation and self-efficacy in preventing relapse among recovering substance abusers. It also sought to explore differences between participants based on their demographic characteristics.<\/span><\/p>\n

Results showed that high levels of emotional regulation and self-efficacy are directly related to a lower likelihood of relapse. This suggests that developing these psychological skills can be an effective tool in recovery programs. The student received a very good grade for his research efforts.<\/span>
\naligns with the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (good health and well-being), as it contributes to providing sustainable solutions to improve the mental and physical health of individuals in society.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
