The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University\u00a0 discussed the master’s thesis tagged An Intervention Program for Nurses about Infection Control Measures in Pediatric Surgical Wards for the student Ali Neamah Mousa.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
The aim of the study<\/strong> is to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention program on nurses’ knowledge and practices related to infection control measures in pediatric surgical wards.<\/p>\n
The letter also included the thesis to The results of the study indicated that (80% and 70) of the nurses expressed a lack of knowledge and insufficient practices related to infection control, respectively, and after applying the intervention program, (70% and 60%) of the nurses expressed good knowledge and appropriate practices, respectively. There were no significant differences between the intervention and control groups in the pretest period (P > 0.05). While there is a statistically significant difference between the intervention and control groups in the post-test period (P < 0.05). An interventional training program is effective in improving nurses’ knowledge and practice about infection control measures. The results from this study showed that after training, nurses’ knowledge and practices towards infection control were enhanced.<\/p>\n

The most important recommendations reached by the study: Health care managers should see the need for policies that are created to improve nurses’ working conditions and to provide the necessary training to ensure that infection control practices are supported ,And the estimate that the researcher got privilege.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
