<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The college of Nursing at Baghdad University witnessed the defense of the master’s thesis submitted by student Ali Mohsen Abdulhassan, entitled “Determining the satisfaction of health care providers with regard to telehealth consultations in the intensive care unit: A mixed method study”. The discussion took place under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hussein Hadi Attia at the College’s Graduate Studies Hall.<\/p>\n
The study aimed to assess the satisfaction of health care providers with the effectiveness of telemedicine communication in intensive care units, which is one of the most sensitive medical environments. To achieve this, the researcher followed a mixed research approach that combines quantitative and qualitative analysis in parallel, allowing for a deep and comprehensive understanding of the experience of health professionals.<\/p>\n
The results of the study revealed an overall high level of satisfaction among health professionals towards the use of telehealth technologies, due to the speed of consultation and support for critical medical decisions. However, the study highlighted challenges related to technological infrastructure and the need for specialized training to ensure optimal use of these technologies.<\/p>\n
Accordingly, the thesis recommended that technical gaps should be bridged and specialized training programs should be developed to promote effective and sustainable adoption of this type of care in intensive care settings.<\/p>\n
This study is particularly important as it aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 3 on ensuring that everyone enjoys healthy lifestyles and well-being. By adopting digital healthcare solutions, it is possible to build more resilient and sustainable health systems, capable of delivering quality services more efficiently. Addressing the challenges outlined in the study not only enhances the quality of patient care, but also represents a long-term investment in a modern and sustainable health infrastructure that serves the entire community<\/p>\n
