\nThe thesis aimed to determine the effectiveness of a guidance program designed to improve patients’ knowledge of daily living activities after they undergo a fixation procedure.
\nThe results of the study showed a significant difference in the level of knowledge of the patients who participated in the counseling program; their knowledge level increased from “poor and acceptable” before the program to “good” after the program. In contrast, the control group that did not undergo the program did not show any significant change in the level of knowledge, proving the positive and direct impact of the program.
\nThe study recommended that comprehensive education and counseling programs focusing on activities of daily living should be designed and delivered to patients before and after undergoing proximal femoral nail surgery. The researcher received an “A” grade for his thesis.
\nImplementing this recommendation not only accelerates patients’ recovery and enables them to regain their independence, but also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially Goal 3 on good health and well-being, by promoting patients’ self-care and reducing the likelihood of complications, leading to a more efficient and sustainable health system.<\/p>\n
