The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the “lung recruitment maneuver” in reducing the intensity of shoulder pain felt by patients after undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy surgery, and compare the results with the conventional treatment followed.<\/p>\n
The results of the study showed that the application of the lung recruitment maneuver significantly reduces shoulder pain after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which contributes to improving patient comfort and accelerating recovery.<\/p>\n
The study recommended that the lung recruitment maneuver should be adopted as an essential part of the postoperative medical management strategy, due to its proven effectiveness in reducing shoulder pain after laparoscopic surgical procedures.<\/p>\n
The adoption of such effective techniques not only improves the quality of healthcare, but also aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the third goal of ensuring that everyone enjoys healthy lifestyles, by improving the patient experience and reducing the need for painkillers, thus enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of health systems.<\/p>\n
