The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University\u00a0 discussed the master’s thesis tagged)\u00a0 Body Image Satisfaction and Quality of Life among Aesthetic Surgery Clients(for the student Raghda Abdulzahra Khudair.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
The aim of the <\/strong>study<\/strong> is assess the relationship between body image satisfaction and quality of life among aesthetic surgery.<\/p>\n
The letter also included the thesis The results of the study indicated that (52%) of clients showed dissatisfaction with their body image. and (56.7%) quality of life was moderate. There is a difference in body image satisfaction according to the clients ages and genders (p<0.05); and differences in the quality of life according to client’s gender, marital status, and the type of previous plastic surgeries (p<0.05). There was a significant positive correlation between body image satisfaction and quality of life (r = 0.168; p = 0.040).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The most important recommendations reached by the study: It should be designed programs and seminars to reach realistic and positive perceptions of body image and overcome negative opinions in order to enhance self-esteem and different dimensions of quality of life..
