The thesis aimed to determine the effect of play therapy, using activities involving clay, beads, and sand, on hand function in children with cerebral palsy.<\/p>\n
The results of the study showed that play therapy interventions using clay, beads, and sand led to a significant improvement in hand function in children with cerebral palsy. One of the most important recommendations of the study is that the researcher advises the development of standardized, evidence-based guidelines for the use of play therapy in health institutions. The researcher received a distinction for her thesis.<\/p>\n
This study contributes directly to sustainable development by improving the quality of life of children with disabilities and supporting their integration into society. Enhancing the functional abilities of children with cerebral palsy is an important step towards achieving good health and well-being, as represented by Goal 3, and reduces long-term health and social burdens, which seeks to build inclusive and sustainable societies.<\/p>\n
