<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The College of Nursing at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis entitled \u201cThe Impact of the Teacher-Student Relationship on Social Anxiety among Middle School Students.\u201d This thesis was presented by researcher Amir Jawad Obaid, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Karim Sajit Rashk, in the Grand Hall.<\/p>\n
The study aimed to determine the extent of the impact of the teacher-student relationship on the level of social anxiety among middle school students. The results revealed that the vast majority of students rated their relationship with their teachers as average. The results also showed that most students suffer from mild social anxiety.<\/p>\n
Based on these results, the study recommended the need to design an educational program for the Najaf Governorate Education Directorate. This program aims to be distributed to all schools in the governorate, with the goal of improving the relationship between teachers and students, which in turn will contribute to reducing social anxiety among students. This recommendation emphasizes the pivotal role of a positive relationship between teachers and learners in building a psychologically healthy educational environment. As a result, it received an \u201cexcellent\u201d rating.<\/p>\n
This study contributes to achieving the goal of \u201censuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all.\u201d This study is in line with the fourth Sustainable Development Goal, which is \u201cquality education.\u201d By highlighting the importance of the quality of the teacher-student relationship and its impact on students’ mental health (social anxiety), providing a supportive and anxiety-free learning environment enhances the quality of inclusive education and students’ psychological well-being, which positively reflects on their academic performance and social development.<\/p>\n
