The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop on \u201cFamily Protection: A Shared Responsibility\u201d with a joint lecture presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Isen Kamal Muhammad and Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Rashk Sajit. The workshop was attended by a group of professors and staff in the faculty’s continuing education hall.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed to highlight that the family is the cornerstone of society and that its well-being has a positive impact on the well-being of society as a whole. It emphasized that protecting the family in all its forms from challenges and risks requires the concerted efforts of many parties, starting with the family members themselves, through health institutions, to civil society organizations.<\/p>\n
The workshop concluded by emphasizing that protecting the family is an ongoing process that requires cooperation and coordination between all these parties. When families, health institutions, and civil society organizations work together, we can build a more stable, healthy, and happy society.<\/p>\n
This workshop is part of a series of workshops organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college, under the supervision of the college dean, with the aim of achieving sustainable development goals. The workshop contributes directly to the achievement of the third sustainable development goal: \u201cGood Health and Well-being.\u201d By focusing on family health, especially women’s health, the workshop provides valuable information that empowers individuals to manage their health and improve their overall well-being. In addition, the workshop supports the fifth Sustainable Development Goal: \u201cGender Equality.\u201d By highlighting women’s health issues and providing the necessary resources to support them, the workshop enhances women’s ability to participate more effectively in society, thereby reinforcing the principle of shared responsibility in building strong families and prosperous communities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
