The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Nursing, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop on \u201cHealth Challenges Facing Women Over 40\u201d with a joint lecture presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Isen Kamal Muhammad and Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Rashk Sajit. The workshop was attended by a group of professors and staff in the college’s continuing education hall.<\/p>\n
The workshop aimed primarily to provide women with accurate and clear information about the physiological and psychological changes associated with the age of 40 and beyond, including a comprehensive understanding of menopause, dealing with accompanying symptoms, and preparing for the next stages of life.<\/p>\n
The workshop concluded with practical guidance on overcoming potential problems, including following a healthy diet, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, managing stress and tension, communicating effectively with others, and seeking professional help when needed.<\/p>\n
This workshop is part of a series of workshops organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit at the college and supervised by the college dean. The workshop achieves the sustainable development goals represented by the third goal, \u201cGood Health and Well-being,\u201d by providing accurate health information and empowering women to manage their health at an important stage of their lives. The workshop contributes to promoting general well-being and reducing the health risks associated with aging. It also supports Goal 5: \u201cGender Equality\u201d by focusing on women’s health issues and providing the necessary resources to support them, thereby enhancing their ability to participate effectively in society.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
