The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the Capstone tagged Evidence Based Nursing Practices Toward Oral Hygiene to Prevention Mechanical Ventilator Associated Pneumonia for the student Nagham Hasan Salman.<\/p>\n
The aim of the <\/strong>Capstone is to explore from systematically review previous studies the evidence-in based practices for nurses toward oral hygiene to prevent ventilator -associated pneumonia.<\/p>\n
The Capstone<\/strong> also included <\/strong>that Implementation of an oral care protocol, on-going nurse education and evaluation were important in reducing the incidence of Ventilator- associated pneumonia also Significant reductions in ventilator-associated pneumonia rates may be achieved through improved education and implementation of oral care protocols with 0.12% chlorhexidine solution.<\/p>\n
The most important recommendations reached by the study:<\/strong> \u00a0Carried out education sessions designed to inform nurses about the ventilator bundle and its use to prevent ventilator- associated pneumonia and Emphasizes the importance of organizing oral care refresher training sessions regularly to improve nurses' practice.. And the estimate that the researcher got passed.<\/p>\n
