The Faculty of Nursing at Baghdad University discussed the doctoral thesis tagged effectiveness of an interventional program on nurses\u2019 knowledge and practice about care of children with chemical poisoning for the student Nuha Saeed Kadhim.<\/p>\n
The aim of the thesis to develop nurses` knowledge and practice about care of children with chemical poisoning, through intervene by a constructed program.
\nThe letter also included the thesis the study showed, most of the nurses scored at inadequate knowledge and practice level about care of poison children before program intervention. However, after the intervene through the constructed program at post I and II periods, most of them were expressed adequate level of knowledge and practice. Moreover, the statistics showed a significant difference between their levels of knowledge and practice among study periods.
\nThe most important recommendations reached by the study: Adopt the constructed program as a guideline for nursing care of poison children, and encourage nurses to enroll in such continuous educational session to improve their skills and the estimate that the researcher got well\/very good\/ privilege<\/p>\n
